GOD THE FATHER

We believe that there is one God, the Creator and Ruler of the universe, who lives eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is God. He lived a sinless life, and as a perfect sacrifice offered himself to die on the cross for the sins of all people. He rose from the dead, defeating sin and death, and ascended to heaven where he reigns as King of Kings and will return to reign on earth.

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is God, and who makes people aware of their need for Jesus, who lives in every person who receives the free gift of Christ’s salvation, and who empowers people for ministry through the gifts of the Spirit.

WORD OF GOD

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, written by human authors under the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit, that it is trustworthy and true, and is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

HUMANITY

We belive that all people are created in the image of God, but have chosen to go his or her own way, to sin, and are therefore separated from God. However, Jesus Christ offers the grace of salvation, and the Holy Spirit enters the lives of all who call to Jesus to save them, and they are saved indeed, destined for eternal life with God in heaven.

THE BODY OF CHRIST

We believe in the living spiritual body of Christ that is made up of all people who have received Christ’s salvation. Jesus Christ committed two important practices to the Church: water baptism and the Lord's Supper. Both are available to all believers. The church baptizes new believers in Christ, enjoys the communion of the Lord’s Supper, cares for and disciples Christ’s followers, lays hands on them to empower gifts and to ordain leaders, and serves and loves the world as Christ’s Kingdom advances until He returns at the end of days. Then those who have trusted Him will reign with him for eternity, and those who have denied Him will be eternally separated from Him.

CREEDS

We believe and affirm the historic Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds of the church as embodying fundamental factions of the Christian faith.
